On this trek and climb to Tent Peak / Tharpu Chuli with Annapurna Sanctuary you can view from Annapurna I (8,091 m / 26,545 ft) Annapurna South (7,219 m / 23,693 ft), Gangapurna (7,455 m / 24,457 ft) and Annapurna III (7,555 m / 24,787 ft).

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft above sea level), transfer to hotel

Welcome to Nepal Himalaya, we meet in Kathmandu airport and will be transferred to your hotel. Ace Hiking offers welcome dinner in authentic Nepalese restaurant. Overnight at hotel, dinner included.

Day 2Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour will start after breakfast. We will visit four UNESCO world heritage sites. Heritage site tour includes the Pashupatinath temple, Boudha Stupa, Swoyambhu stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will get opportunity to obsearve historical, religious and cultural aspect of Nepal. You will also see Nepalese architecture containing palaces, buildings, temples, Stupas, carving, mason and metal work. Overnight at hotel, breakfast included.

Day 3Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820 m / 2,690 ft) 6-7 hours

Pokhara is a beautiful touristic city with Mountain View. We will take tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara for 7 hours. Overnight at hotel, breakfast included.

Day 4Drive to Nayapul (1.5 hours) and trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540 m / 5,050 ft) 4-5 hours

We will take private vehicle to Nayapul. It is 45 km far from pokhara, takes 1 hour 30 min drive. After Nayapul we will start trek to Tikhedhunga. We have to cross Modi River and follow to Bhrungdi River. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 5Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,860 m / 9,383 ft) 6-7 hours

The trek begins with thousands of steps up hill to Ulleri. Ulleri is a big Magar ethnic village. We pass waterfalls, small villages, and tea-houses before reaching Ghorepani. We will stay at Ghorepani Deurali, at the saddle with 8000 meters Mountains View. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 6Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2,630 m / 8,630 ft) 7-8 hours

We will reach Poonhill before sun rising. Poon hill is popular visitor’s park Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalaya range. We can observe the deepest George between too high mountains Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. We can see many mountains, valleys, ridges and forest from Poonhill. After enjoying there, we return back to Ghorepani. After breakfast in Ghorepani, we trek to Tadapani. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 7Tadapani to Chhomrong (2,170 m / 7,120 ft) 5-6 hours

The trail descends all the way to Kimrong River. After crossing the river by suspension bridge, we hike more uphill and downhill to reach our destination Chhomrong. Chhomrong a beautiful village lies on the lap of Annapurna South Mountain. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 8Chhomrong to Dovan (2,600 m / 8,530 ft) 5-6 hours

We will leave Chhomrong after breakfast, and walk down steps on stone paved to the Chhomrong Khola, river. We cross a suspension bridge over the river and begin an uphill climb to Sinuwa. Our trail passes through a beautiful forest and thick bamboos bushes. Today we enter to the special managed zone Annapurna Sanctuary. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 9Dovan to Deurali (3,230 m / 10,597 ft) 4-5 hours

We walk to Deurali through Himalaya. Deurali is located at the bottom of big cliff. Today we have to walk mostly gradual up and very short down. We will enjoy with forest, waterfall, Hinku Cave, birds and animals. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 10Deurali to Annapurna Base camp (4,130 m / 13,550 ft) 5 - 6 hours

We have to walk 3 hour to get Machhapuchre Base Camp (MBC). There is possibility of avalanche if heavy snow there, so we have to be careful. Machhapuchre base camp is nice and beautiful place. We can see many mountains. Now we have more 400m ascent to get ABC, about 2 hours walk from MBC. ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) is beautiful place surrounded by mountain. We can see bottom to top part of Annapurna I, many mountains, glacier, memorials and flags. There is recently build memorial statue of Maurice Herzog, the first Annapurna I climber. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 11Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,310 m / 7,580 ft) 6-7 hours

Today, we back down following the same trail we had. The trail descends by 1,700 m to the Bamboo at 2,345 meters. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 12Bamboo to Jhinu (1,780 m / 5,840 ft) 5-6 hours

We trek to Chhomrong and then way descend to Jhinu. Jhinu is popular because of nearby natural hot spring. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 13Jhinu to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara (820 m / 2,690 ft) 5-6 hours

From Jhinu, we cross the Kimrong Khola (River) by newly build, high and long suspension bridge, we trek 4 hours to Nayapul. Then one and half hour drive will take us back to Pokhara. We will enjoy in beautiful city Pokhara. Overnight at hotel, breakfast and lunch included.
(There is option: one hour walk away from Jhinu, we can take Jeep/bus to Nayapul or directly to pokhara, if you are worried to walk along the dusty road.)

Day 14Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft) 6-7 hours

Today in the morning we get tourist bus for Kathmandu. Ace Hiking offers farewell dinner in authentic Nepalese restaurant. Overnight at hotel, breakfast and dinner included.

Day 15Departure to international airport

Today you grab last minute shopping or other activities. We will drop you at the Kathmandu international airport 3 hours before your scheduled flight. We will say goodbye with happy memories and hoping to see you again. Breakfast included.
