After breakfast, tour guide picks up you for sightseeing tour for interesting cultural heritage in Kathmandu valley. The tour of holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath ( Little Tibet), Swayambhunath ( Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu. After an interesting sightseeing back to the hotel and Panchase Hill trek preparation.
Morning travel by tourist coach or in private vehicle over the busy scenic highway towards amazing picturesque Pokhara valley driving through the Himalayan foothills, on arrival at Pokhara transfer to respective hotels nearby beautiful Phewa Lake.
(For flying option a 30 minutes of scenic flight to Pokhara on arrival our staff will transfer you to respective hotels by the Phewa Lake side with afternoon at leisure.)
Morning after breakfast a short drive to south of Pokhara and then an uphill climb towards Peace Stupa where you can view Pokhara valley along with massif panorama of snow capped mountains from Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal with majestic peak Machhapuchhre ‘Fish Tail’
Walk leads through rice terraces, after reaching the ridge on the easy moderate trail for two hours to Pumdi village and then heading towards Gurung village at Bhumdi, Gurung one of the famous Gorkha hill tribes of Nepal. From Bhumdi super view of Annapurna mountains range including Mt. Machhapuchhre.
The morning begins with a gradual ascend in the shade of cool alpine forest of oaks and rhododendron tree lines with superb views of Annapurna peaks and Mt. Machhapuchhre, a good trek for few hours till lunch then with an uphill walk facing fabulous views of green landscapes and snow capped peaks then walking into pristine forest for a while with last hour descend to overnight stop at Panchase Bhanjyang at 2,200 m a small village at the base of Panchase hill offering grand views of snow capped mountain range.
Early morning hike up to Panchase hill top located at 2,509 meters for a super wide angle panorama of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu range of mountains, apart from the super views Panchase Hill is also a holy spot for local people, pilgrims from Annapurna area visits here for religious festivals once a year on auspicious time, after a great moment here descend to Bhanjyang and continue walk to Bhadaure village through tranquil forest till Bhadaure village.
Morning walk on the easy and gradual path with views of snow capped mountains and walking past terraced farm fields and villages through several farm hamlets and paddy fields then back on the warmer lower area, after hours of pleasant walk reaching at Nayapul situated on the Beni / Baglung & Pokhara highway. A great change around here in the warmer area on the main Annapurna trekking route, after being in complete isolation from other trekking groups for the past few days; our journey carries on the winding path following the Modi river upstream to lovely Bhirethati village for overnight stop.
Morning walk follows the river Modi upstream for a while to Syali Bazaar a small village at the bottom of Gandruk high hill, after a nice gradual trek, then the walk leads uphill all the way to Ghandruk village, passing several villages and terraced farm fields with occasional view of the Annapurna peaks.
The last leg of this journey is pleasant till Ghandruk is reached for overnight stop with time to explore the largest Gurung village in the Annapurna region. The Ghandruk village have long tradition of joining in the Gurkha Regiment to both the British and Indian armies. Ghandruk is a fascinating village perched in a beautiful location; here you will have opportunity to chat with ex-Gurkha soldiers.
downhill for an hour to Modi River, then over the bridge with gradual walk and a short climb reaches to Landruk village, after brief time here continue walk on the long winding trail through terraced farm fields and villages then reaching in a small cool forested area, from here an uphill walk for 40 minutes to Deurali ridge at 2,150 m. After Deurali a nice pleasant walk through forest with grand views of
Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu including the Fish Tail peak all the way to Pothana village is reached for overnight stay located in the middle of alpine forest with fantastic views of the snow capped mountains and valley.
Morning with superb views leads to a short up through cool forest and beautiful village Dhampus. After a magnificent views of the Himalayan range from Dhampus, last hour descend to Phedi on the Baglung-Pokhara highway. It takes 40 min drive from Phedi to Pokhara.
Morning a scenic drive to Kathmandu, after a wonderful memorable trip in the mid hills of Annapurna area, then on reaching Kathmandu transfer to respective hotels with afternoon free at leisure.
