Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is being popular route due to wonderful forest walk and the picturesque Mountain view. The off the beaten dot route, leads up to Mardi Himal base camp and finally the high camp, we hike on the trails with rhododendron forests, stone paved villages, valleys, terraced farms, dazzling rivers and the amazing views of the Mardi Himal (5,587 m), Annapurna I (8,091 m), Annapurna south (7,219 m), Hiunchuli (6,441 m), Baraha Shikhar aka Mt. Fang (7,647 m), Tent Peak (5,695 m), Singhachuli (6,501 m) and Machhapuchhre (6,997 m).

This trek starts and ends in the scenic valley at Pokhara city where the high snow capped peaks reflects in its serene lake Phewa. Low camp is the best view of Machhapuchhre with sunrise and sunset. Furthermore we reach Mardi Himal Base camp itself with views overlooking all of the Annapurna range and Annapurna Sanctuary.

Mardi Himal Base Camp trek is a short trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal where we stay in tea houses, eat local food, appreciate the jungle walk and mountain landscape, and Himalaya views.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft above sea level), transfer to hotel

Welcome to Nepal Himalaya, we meet in Kathmandu airport and will be transferred to your hotel. Ace Hiking offers welcome dinner in authentic Nepalese restaurant. Overnight at hotel, dinner included.

Day 2Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour will start after breakfast. We will visit four UNESCO world heritage sites. Heritage site tour includes the Pashupatinath temple, Boudha Stupa, Swoyambhu stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will get opportunity to obsearve historical, religious and cultural aspect of Nepal. You will also see Nepalese architecture containing palaces, buildings, temples, Stupas, carving, mason and metal work. Overnight at hotel, breakfast included.

Day 3Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820 m / 2,690 ft) 6-7 hours

Pokhara is a beautiful touristic city with Mountain View. We will take tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara for 7 hours. Overnight at hotel, breakfast included.

Day 4Drive to Phedi and trek to Deurali (2,100 m / 6,720 ft): 45 minutes drive, 4-5 hours trek

Day 5Deurali to forest camp (2,520 m/ 8,064 ft): 6-7 hours

Day 6Forest Camp to low camp (2,970 m / 9,504 ft): 5-6 hours

Day 7Low Camp to High Camp (3,540 m / 11,328 ft): 3-4 hours

Day 8High Camp to upper viewpoint (4,500 m / 14,763 ft), return back to high camp: 2-3 hours

Day 9High Camp to Forest Camp 4-5 hours

Day 10Forest Camp to Kande, drive to Pokhara 4 hours trek, 1 hour drive

Day 11Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
