Trip Details

Jomsom Muktinath Trek starts and ends in Pokhara. Jomsom, Kagbeni and Muktinath villages and Kaligandaki valley are the part of the Annapurna circuit trek. This area has been known for century, for pilgrims through the valley of the Kali Gandaki River to Muktinath, and the greater part of the rout was used by generations of traders on journeys to and from Mustang and Tibet. Still we find very old settlements in Kagbeni, Jharkot and other places.

Jomsom Muktinath trail follows the Kali Gandaki upstream through the world’s deepest valley. This mountain region also called rain shadow valley, and windy valley. Muktinath is pilgrimage place for Hindu and Buddhist religion. There are old monuments and statue, natural fire flame. Probably we find fossil at the bank of Kali Gandaki River. Now this trekking is being easier and takes shorter duration because of road access.
