The Nepal Government target was to attract 2 million tourists in “Visit Nepal 2020“. But due to Corona, 2020 and 2021 became the worst year for Nepal tourism. The tourism infrastructure in the country has increased. The skilled manpower involved in tourism has also increased. But, Nepal tourism was hit hard. Many people became unemployed and incomeless. Over a million tourists visited in 2019, but 230,085 foreigner visited in 2020 and only 150,000 foreigner visited in 2021.

Despite the Covid-19, Ace Hiking organized only two trips to Everest Base Camp and a trip to Annapurna Base Camp in 2021. We are hopeful for better future. People from all over the world are eager to go Himalayas, to travel around the world, so in a couple of years, tourism could return to its old form.
